Hi, I'm Jindy. It's like Cindy, but with a J.

Aloha & bienvenidos to Wonderland Diaries! Wonderland Diaries is a whimsical travel & lifestyle blogazine where I share my adventures in food, wellness, fitness, local treasures, beauty, style, entertainment and tech. Wonderland Diaries is the home of positive vibes, spilled glitter, swanky fun and good will.

I'm a constantly evolving modern-day super woman: Public Servant by day, caped media maven & freelancer by night. Currently pursuing a B.A. in Public Relations, I am educated with a degree in Multimedia Communications & Presentations. My experience in public relations, marketing, hospitality & event planning is evident in my storytelling and social sharing strategies. The mother of a college senior, I am taking advantage of this fabulous stage in my life by pursuing my education and career goals, running more, becoming a wine expert, traveling the globe, volunteering and piling on the romance with my sweetheart.

I was born and raised in San Jose California, daughter of a Puerto Rican mom and Indian dad. I was raised by the same wonderful mom and my fabulous Puerto Rican step dad. Obviamente, hablo español, amo la música y crecí comiendo comida increíble. I spent six years of my life living in Florida as a teenager and returned to California just in time for college.

I started blogging anonymously in 2003 but took a break when anonymity became obsolete. Having won a creative writing award as a teenager, my love of writing wouldn't allow me to remain in the shadows so I rekindled the old blog flame and that's how Flowers Croon (named after the Enchanted Tiki Room song) was born in 2012! In 2018 I rebranded to Wonderland Diaries.

I began my graphic design career while still in college and quickly found that design opened the door to several other creative outlets. Soon I was working in administration, marketing, events and trade show management. With the birth of daughter and a brief out-of-state move I began a new career in publishing, freelance writing and event planning.

For years I published a popular anonymous blog and was a ghost writer, while simultaneously being a single mom and furthering my professional career. Throughout my career I've been blessed to hold executive positions in exciting industries (education, sports, hospitality, publishing, government) while still nurturing my love of social media and writing. I've worked with children & high-profile clients and have planned large-scale private and public events. Always exceeding expectations, my strong work ethic has given me the reputation of being the gal to call when you need a job done right.

I am a music & film lover, art & pin collector, Disneyland regular, sports fan, runner, DIYer, plant based foodie, bargain hunting fashionista (thrifting!), pop culture nerd & runDisney expert. I'm also a baseball stadium & wine connoisseuse, saxophone player and wannabe professional swing dancer. I enjoy dirt biking, Hawaii, movies, culture, concerts, roller coasters, travel, people watching and photography. I am passionate about reading, education, imagination, art & giving back. I'm inspired by everyday super heroes. I practice kindness, philanthropy and sharing good vibes daily.

I am blessed to live in Northern California where I share my life with these two incredible people.
