Silicon Valley Comic Con Returns to San Jose April 6-8, 2018

As I mentioned in my Geek Girl Gift Guide, tickets for Silicon Valley Comic Con are now available! You bought your favorite girl her tickets already, right?!

This year's SVCC will begin Friday, April 6 and end Sunday night April 8th. The show will take place once again in the heart of Silicon Valley at San Jose's Convention Center. Every year the event features tons of tech and eye-catching cosplays.

What sets Silicon Valley Comic Con apart from other cons? Brains. Lots of brains and lots of tech. By uniting pop culture and technology, Steve Wozniak has created a world where entertainment and electronic overlap. This year's theme, "What Does it Mean to be Human?", explores robotics and artificial intelligence via keynotes from top speakers in their fields.

In addition to leaders in science and tech, this year's special guest of honor is Stan Lee. This is not a drill. Take a deep breath people.

We all know Stan from his legendary work in comics and we love seeing him in his cameo appearances in movies and television. Now we get to meet him!

Other guests include celebrities, comic creators, cosplayers and leaders in science and tech. SVCC 3.0 is going to be epic.
